PDF Merge Options

There are a couple of ways to merge PDFs together in Heno and outside of Heno.

In Heno, there is options to merge and download documentation at one time. This can be found inside the Patient's account -> Documents.

  • You can click on the check boxes of the documents you want to be merged together

  • OR you can select Most Recent and then Merge and Document to collect all documents and exclude the original if an addendum was completed on the document

Once you have selected all of the documentation you can use one of the merge options wo either Merge and Download or to Merge and Fax:

Merge and Download will combine the documents as one file to your device and the Merge and Fax will allow you to fax the bundle out of HENO:

There is a way to download the full Medical Record, but this does not merge the files in the download.

If you are wanting to gather the 1500s with it as well, there is a step in Heno to pull HFCA forms and documentation at one time. Please be sure to inform any other billers you are completing this in order to ensure no other claims on this insurance are sent paper by accident.
Here are the steps

  1. Change the insurance to Print 1500 inside the insurance company -> Claims tab
  2. Go to the patient's claims, select all and use the Option 4 Re-bill/Update: Rebill Corrected Information
  3. Generate then Paper Claim inside the Billing tab -> Encounter -> Submit claims on the Paper side: Step 10. Submitting the Claim
  4. Print or download the PDF
  5. Switch the inside back to the correct EDI submission Payer ID

For external sources, there are a couple of different options.
Free PDF Merger to downloaded to local computer.

Paid PDF Merger and sending options. These have a lot more options outside of just a Merge/Split performance

If you are wanting to send through Heno Faxing, please be sure to follow these steps:
(Please Note: there is a 20 MBs limit to each fax. If it is over this amount, you can send an additional fax with the extra files.)

Please email support@heno.io if you have any questions.
