How to create the Slot Template

You will be able to create template on the Schedule Tab under Slot Builder:

On this screen, you can manage and create your schedule template:

There are two ways to manage these.

List View

To Create a new template slot, click the "Create" button in the upper right hand side:

You will get a pop up that will have you fill out in following information:

    • Red - Start and End date - this will allow you to generate the template for up to two (2) years out.
    • Blue - Start and End time - select the times on the schedule you want the appointment to start and end.
    • Green - Resource - select the Resource/Schedule this slot will be on.
    • Orange - Type - select the slot type for this time.
    • Purple - Select the days you want this slot to show on your schedule.

Calendar View

There is also a calendar view, which will look similar to the schedule. Click on the "Calendar View" in the upper right have corner above Create.

This will bring up a new page. You will get the choice to choose you view: Month, Week, or Day.

Then you will want to pick your Location and Team you will be creating the template for:

Here you can use the Point-and-Click feature to generate an appointment and start the template.

**There is one feature that the Calendar View has that the List View does not. That is you can copy a series:

Click on the slot you just created. There will be a pop up with the appointment information. There will be a new button on the bottom that says "Copy Series".

This will copy the series you created prior and change the time to the next time (Back to Back):

Once you have completed your template you can now go to the schedule and use it for booking appointments at a specific time!

When you are needing to adjust a schedule template, you will be able to Shorten the series created without updating the current template. This means if you have removed slots/appointments off the scheduled based on this series, Heno will not populate these slots on to the schedule.

You will be able to complete this by going to the Schedule Slot builder. This can be completed on the List or the Calendar view. Click on the slot series that you are updating. This article will address from the List view:

In the pop-up, you will be able to change the end date. Be sure to select the Short Series Only option to not populate selected slots from this series:
