Claim Options

Below are the claim options and descriptions:

Option 1. Rebill Insurance & Send Now

Option 1 will trigger the claim(s) to rebill the primary insurance and auto send the selected claim(s) to the insurance carrier for processing.

Option 2. Rebill insurance & Send Later 

Option 2 will trigger the claim(s) to rebill the primary insurance, then those claims will be dropped into the send claims buckets for you to manually submit to the primary insurance for processing.

Option 3 Assign Balance to Patient

Option 3 will assign the remaining balance of the selected claim(s) to the patient.

Option 4. Rebill/Update & Send Later

Option 4 will pick up any changes you have made to the patient and or claim(s), then those claims will be dropped into the send claims buckets for you to submit to the primary insurance for processing.

Option 5 Rebill on CMS 1500

Option 5 will rebill the selected claim(s) to the current payer on a CMS 1500 form. Those claims will be in the paper claim bucket for printing & mailing.

Option 6. Change Claim Status

Option 6 will allow you change the claim status of the selected claim(s). 

Once this option is selected a "New Claim status will populate. You will then need to select a claim status you would like the selected claim(s) to be set to.

Option 7. Bill Secondary

Option 7 will put the selected claim(s) into the send claims buckets to bill the secondary insurance.

Option 8. Add Claim Note 

With our September 2022 release, You can now update multiple claims from this screen by selecting the claims you wish to bulk update!

Option 9. Bill Secondary on CMS 1500

Option 9. Bill Secondary on CMS 1500 on the option drop-down, The selected claims will be billed by CMS 1500 forms to their secondary insurance companies.
