Overriding Charges in the Charges Screen
This set up is ideal for clinics that want to change the billed, allowed or want to adjust down the charged amounts prior to creating a claim. If turned on at the insurance level, at the checkout screen, you will be able to edit the charged amounts or adjust down the amounts.
You will want to make sure this feature is turned on.

- Edit Pencil of the insurance
- Rules
- Red- In the Charges Screen box, you will turn on the setting you will want to be able to edit in the charges screen.
- Apply Changes
On the charges screen, follow these steps to Edit the charges:
- Select the Edit Pencil of the line you want to edit the charges on
- Green- Enter in the allowed amount
- Blue- Enter in the Billed/Charge
- Yellow- Enter the Adjustment/Discount
- Orange- Select the Adjustment/ Discount Reason
- Pink- Apply Changes
Proceed to RFC/Checkout
On the treatment receipt, the Adjustments/ Discounts will appear:
