Delete Diagnosis Code to Reprocess Claim

In this Article we will discuss how to delete a diagnosis code from a claim that has been denied/rejected:

Prior: We want to remove Diagnosis Code 4

Remove Code

Once the chart has been updated go into your claims edit Encounter process and Obsolete the line item:

Once the codes have been removed and you select "Add Line" it will pull up the diagnosis codes from the updated chart, please keep in mind any modifiers that needs to be on the line item.
