End of the Day Deposit Tracking

Use deposit tracking to make sure your bank deposits match the payments in your HENO account. This will reduce potential office fraud, improve bookkeeping accuracy, and create more accurate financial reporting for your clinic.

This can be found inside the Report tab -> Deposit:

On this screen, you will be able to Create the deposit in the upper right hand side by click on + Create:

There will be a Pop-up that you can input the information for this Deposit:

  • Red - Deposit Name: You will want to name the deposit in Heno. You can use a date or a bank reference number. This is practice preference
  • Orange - Bank Name: Include the bank name in which the deposit is going to
  • Blue - Deposit Date: The date and time the deposit was made to the bank. This can be estimated at creation. We recommend editing it after deposit is made when closing the deposit in this report.
  • Purple - Deposit by: The person in the office completing the deposit
  • Green - Deposit Note: Any notes you may have regarding the deposit

Once filled out click the Create button on the bottom right.

This will create the deposit to start adding payments. You will see the one selected and active on the right side (open deposits will have a green bubble next to them):

When adding the payments to the deposit, these will show all cash, check, and gift card payment categories within the past month that can be added to the deposit. You can use the check boxes to select the payments you would like to add and click the Submit button on the bottom right:

After Submitted, the Deposit will show all of the lines and the total of the deposit:

If you need to remove a payment that have been added, you will click on the Hyperlink on the Link #.

A pop-up will appear where you can remove the line:

Once everything has been completed on the Deposit report and it has been taken to the bank, you can close the deposit by clicking on the Edit button:

And click on Close Deposit:

If you need to re-open a deposit, there is a privilege needs for this user to be able to re-open and edit a deposit.

This will allow the user to click on the Edit button and Re-open the deposit:
