How to Make a Modifier Auto Populate
- Follow these steps to make a Modifier Auto Populate....Otherwise you will need to do this manually....
- Click Billing Tab
- Click Insurance
- Click Edit Pencil of the desire Insurance Company
- Rules Tab
- Move "Listed Codes Only" to the Right hand box by double clicking (or using the single Arrow in the shuttle)
- Click Apply Changes
Company Rates Tab
- Click Add Rate
- Choose a Procedure Code
- Add a Rate
- If you know the Allowed Amount (the amount that the insurance company will actually pay you) enter that (not required)
- Choose a Modifier to add
- Click Create
- Repeat this for all Codes in this insurance (Leave the modifier field blank if they are not needed on this code)
- You can Copy this to another insurance company and/or plan by Clicking Copy Rates and Choosing which insurance Company and/or plan you want it Copied to.
