Heno is Running Slow

If you are experiencing issues with connecting with Heno we recommend the following:

1) Run a speed test: https://www.speedtest.net/

Within your clinic & running wireless devices, you will want to ensure that you have a fair amount of Download and Upload speed.

2) Clear your cache and cookies from your browser:

Google Chrome: Click on the Three Dots icon in the upper right hand corner 

Choose Settings:

Search for "Cache" & remove your Cookies and Cache & click Clear Data.

For Safari:

Click on "Safari" from your Mac click on Preferences

Click on Advanced & check the box "Show Develop menu in menu bar"

Click on Develop & Click "Empty Caches" 

3) Restart your Modem and Router, we generally recommend that your office does this at least once a week to ensure that your modem and router has the most up to date firmware. 

To restart your modem and router please follow the steps below:

1. Unplug both router and modem

2. Wait at least 90 seconds

3. Plug the modem back in

4. Wait at least 60 seconds

5. Plug the router back in 

6. Wait at least 2 minutes

7. Repeat if needed.

4) Check if your service is down from https://istheservicedown.com/companies by searching your internet provider & checking their full outage map:

5) If this problem persists, try using your mobile hotspot by disconnecting your device from the Wifi & connecting to your mobile devices' hotspot as their may be a connection issue with the gateway between your internet service provider and Heno's servers. Preform a modem/ router reboot and attempt to connect to Heno again.

6) Change your DNS settings on your device:

7) If you continue to have trouble please contact the support team at support@heno.io and let them know of the following:

1) Your  & your Clinic's Name

2) Your Clinic's City & State location

3) Your Internet Provider 

4) What activity were you performing when experiencing a lag in Heno access.
