Text Your Patients in Heno

You asked, we listened. HENO Release 19.12 delivers powerful texting features to your clinic. Follow the instructions below to activate your texting settings, and watch the patient smiles roll in!

Type direct text messages to patients, and receive alerts when they respond in HENO's Patient Text Messenger (Patients>>Text Messages).
Alerts will display in the small exclamation icon next to the Logout menu item in the upper right hand corner of HENO.
All sent and received texts will be displayed in the Patient Text Messenger along with date/time stamps indicating which user in your clinic responded.
All sent and received texts will display on the contact log report available from Reports>>Contact Log.
All Text communications will be displayed sequentially in the Patient Demographic Record from the Patient Record>>Contact Menu.
Now Patients can Reply C to a text appointment reminder to confirm their visit. (no additional charges for this feature).
Confirmations will create a "Yellow Border" around the patient's appointment.
Message and data rates may apply for your patient's
There will be no additional Heno costs when patients "Reply C" to confirm their appointments
Only patients with a cell phone listed on their demographics can receive HENO text messages

Plans and pricing will be displayed at the top of the screen from Patients -> Text Patients

To Enable for the Clinic

As an Admin go to Patients -> Read and understand the HIPAA ramifications and then click the Button to agree and activate after selecting a Plan

Privileges

For Heno users to utilize the Messenger they will need the "Patients: Text Message" privilege in Admin -> Users

New Message Alert Indicator

There will be a small exclamation message icon next to the Logout item in the below screenshot that will shake once a message arrives
