Billing - Allow Practice Name Override from Location for EDI and CMS-1500

Within our latest release you now have the ability to override the Practice name from the location without having to setup separate insurance companies if desired.

When going into the Location settings for the practice if you turn on the Override Practice Name on claims while the "Location Description" toggle is on this allows the name you put into the "Location Description box" to appear on both the EDI and CMS 1500 in ALL locations.

• This is controlled under Admin → Practice → Locations → “Override Practice Name on claims with "Location Description".
• Allow practices to override the Practice name from the location without having to setup separate insurance companies if desired.
• Increased Max length of Location Description to 400 characters
  • If ON will take the value from “Location Description”.
• Will show in both EDI and CMS 1500 in ALL locations (Up to 3 in EDI) where the Practice Name for the claim is shown
• If an Insurance Practice name override is specified that will take precedence over the Location Name override.
• The Location override shows in Box 32 & 33 and in the EDI File.
