Office - Exclude patients in Sub Status "Duplicate Patient" from most LOVs

Within this new release you now have the option to "Exclude patient sub-status if set to "Inactive - Duplicate Patient" from most LOV if the patient has two accounts and one is active and the other is set to "inactive - duplicate patient" so when your trying to link a patient to a fax you attach the correct account.

If the patient has two accounts and one of the accounts was set to "Inactive - Duplicate Patient". When faxing out going faxes if the patients sub-status within the patients demographics is set to "Inactive -Duplicate Patient" when trying to link a patient to a fax there name will not populate in the "Link to patient section". within the fax.

  • First you will go into the general tab on the far left hand side > Next you will click on the patients tab and search the patients name > Once you have clicked on the edit pencil next to the patients name it will bring you into the patients details where you can change the patients status from the sub-status drop down tag. Once you have changed the sub-status you will click on apply changes.

  • Next it will take you into the patients demographic where your able to change the patients sub-status to "Inactive- Duplicate Patient"  and apply the changes.

  • Now that we have changed the patients sub-status we can begin to create an outgoing fax to see if the patients name appears in the "Link To Patient" section within the fax. First go into the out going fax tab and click on create after filling out the fax information > Stroll down to the "Link Patient Section"  there name doesn't appear so this helps you confirm that the correct account is linked to the fax.
