Schedule Status Colors

The RED box around the appointment slot means the patient HAS NOT been Checked-In : 

  • This means the appointment has been scheduled but is not available for CPT code entry or Documentation.

The ORANGE box around the appointment slot means the patient HAS been Checked-In:

  • This means the appointment is ready for CPT code entry by the treating provider and documentation is available to complete
  • Please note, it is not recommended for another provider to assist with CPT code entry or change in this status as the Check Out screen will override the provider is a new one is assisting with changes

The YELLOW box around the appointment box means the patient has confirmed their appointment or the patient is Ready for check-out.

  • This means that the CPT codes have been entered and saved by the provider and informs the person checking out the appointment this is ready for final review before going to the billing
  • Please note, this is the recommended stage of the appointment to update, edit, or change information in the check out screen if it is needed. This will lock the rendering provider and will not override in this screen.

The BLUE box around the appointment box means the patient has been Checked-Out:

  • This means the appointment has been checked out and is completed on the schedule.
  • Any changes or edits needed to the CPT codes should be updated within the Encounter (Pre-Claim) area OR can be removed from encounters and places back in the Checked in (CI) status on the schedule
