How to Create a Waiting List
Here is How to Create a Waiting List on the Schedule
For the Waiting List, we do have this as an enhancement request but currently do not have a timeline for it. We do have a work around that several clinics use.
You have to create a slot type called "Waiting List" :
Click "Schedule" >
Click "Slot Types" >
Click "Create" >
- Create a "Slot Name"
- Choose a Background Color
- Choose a Font Color
- Check the Changeable box
- Click "Create" >
Create a Slot Builder for the Slot Type to show up at either the Top or the Bottom of your schedule
Click "Schedule" > Click "Slot Builder" >
Click "Create" >
- Choose a Start Date and End Date
- Choose a Start Time and End Time
- Select a Resource
- Select a Type
- Click "Apply Changes" >
Click "Schedule" >
Click "Schedule" > 
The Slot Type will appear on the schedule:

When adding patients to the Waiting List, Click on the slot > Under the Notes box, write the name(s) of the patients > Then click "Save"
The names typed in the note section will appear on the schedule on the waiting list slot :
